Authorized VersionTM NAVTM)
According to the Christian Seasons
23 And being let go, they went to their own company and reported
all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. 24 And when they heard
this, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord and said, "Lord,
Thou art God who hast made heaven and earth and the sea and all that is in them,
25 who by the mouth of Thy servant David hast said,
'Why did the heathen rage,
and the people imagine vain things?
26 The kings of the earth stood up,
and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against His
27 For truly against Thy holy child Jesus, whom Thou hast
anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of
Israel, had gathered together 28 to do whatsoever Thy hand and Thy counsel
determined before to be done. 29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings, and
grant unto Thy servants that with all boldness they may speak Thy Word, 30 by
stretching forth Thine hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done by
the name of Thy holy child Jesus." 31 And when they had prayed, the place
was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the
Holy Ghost, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness.
1 Why do the heathen rage,
and the people devise a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel
against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
3 "Let us break Their bonds asunder,
and cast away Their cords from us."
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh;
the LORD shall hold them in derision.
5 Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath,
and vex them in His sore displeasure:
6 "Yet have I set My King
upon My holy hill of Zion."
7 "I will declare the decree:
The LORD hath said unto Me, 'Thou art My Son; this day have I
8 Ask of Me, and I shall give Thee the heathen for Thine
and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them to
pieces like a potter's vessel.'"
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings;
be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear
and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son,
lest He be angry and ye perish from the way,
when His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.
Words of Worship - Colossians 3:1
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things
which are above, where Christ sitteth at the right hand of God.
1 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the
Jews. 2 The same came to Jesus by night and said unto Him, "Rabbi,
we know that thou art a teacher come from God; for no man can do these
miracles that thou doest, unless God be with him." 3 Jesus answered
and said unto him,
"Verily, verily I say unto thee,
unless a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4 Nicodemus said unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is
old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be
born?" 5 Jesus answered,
"Verily, verily I say unto thee,
unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into
the Kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and
that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said
unto thee, `Ye must be born again.' 8 The wind bloweth where it will,
and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it
cometh and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the
Words of Wisdom - Proverbs 14:34
Righteousness exalteth a nation,
but sin is a reproach to any people.

that are rich,
for ye have received your consolation.
Woe unto you that are full,
for ye shall hunger.
