Authorized VersionTM NAVTM)
According to the Christian Seasons
8 "But thou, Israel, art My servant,
Jacob whom I have
chosen, the seed of Abraham My friend.
9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee
from the chief men thereof,
and said unto thee, `Thou art My servant;
I have chosen thee and not cast thee away'--
10 fear thou not, for I am with thee;
be not dismayed, for I am thy
will strengthen thee;
yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold
thee with the right hand of My righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed
they shall be as nothing, and they that strive with
thee shall perish.
12 Thou shalt seek them and shalt not find them,
even them that
contended with thee.
They that war against thee shall be as nothing,
and as a thing of nought.
13 For I, the LORD thy God, will hold thy right hand, saying unto
`Fear not; I will help thee.'
14 "Fear not, thou worm Jacob and ye men of Israel;
I will help
thee," saith the LORD and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of
15 "Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument
thou shalt thresh the mountains and beat them small, and
shalt make the hills as chaff.
16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away,
whirlwind shall scatter them;
and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD,
shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.
17 "When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none and
their tongue faileth for thirst,
I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the
God of Israel, will not forsake them.
18 I will open rivers in high places and fountains in the midst of the
I will make the wilderness a pool of water and the dry land
springs of water.
19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia tree, and the
myrtle and the oil tree;
I will set in the desert the fir tree, and
the pine and the box tree together,
20 that they may see and know, and consider and understand together,
that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel
hath created it.
1 I will extol Thee, my God, O King;
and I will bless Thy name for ever and ever.
2 Every day will I bless Thee,
and I will praise Thy name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised,
and His greatness is unsearchable.
4 One generation shall praise Thy works to another,
and shall declare Thy mighty acts.
5 I will speak of the glorious honor of Thy majesty,
and of Thy wondrous works.
6 And men shall speak of the might of Thy fearsome acts,
and I will declare Thy greatness.
7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of Thy great goodness,
and shall sing of Thy righteousness.
8 The LORD is gracious and full of compassion,
slow to anger and of great mercy.
9 The LORD is good to all,
and His tender mercies are over all His works.
10 All Thy works shall praise Thee, O LORD,
and Thy saints shall bless Thee.
11 They shall speak of the glory of Thy Kingdom
and talk of Thy power,
12 to make known to the sons of men His mighty acts
and the glorious majesty of His Kingdom.
13 Thy Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom,
and Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall,
and raiseth up all those that are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all wait upon Thee,
and Thou givest them their meat in due season.
16 Thou openest Thine hand,
and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways,
and holy in all His works.
18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him,
to all that call upon Him in truth.
19 He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and will save them.
20 The LORD preserveth all them that love Him,
but all the wicked will He destroy.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD,
and let all flesh bless His holy name for ever and ever.
Words of Worship - Isaiah 45:8a
"Drop down, ye heavens, from above,
and let the skies pour down righteousness;
let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation.
7 And as they departed, Jesus began to
say unto the multitudes concerning John,
"What went ye out into
the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? 8
But what went ye out to see? A man clothed in soft
raiment? Behold, they that wear soft clothing are in
kings' houses. 9 But what went ye out to see? A
prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and more than a
prophet. 10 For this is he of whom it is written:
'Behold, I send My
messenger before Thy face,
who shall prepare Thy way before Thee.'
11 Verily I say unto you,
among them that are born of women, there hath not
risen a greater than John the Baptist;
notwithstanding, he that is least in the Kingdom of
Heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of
John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of Heaven
suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
13 For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until
John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elijah,
who was to come. 15 He that hath ears to hear, let
Words of Wisdom - Deuteronomy 29:29
"The secret things belong unto the LORD our God; but those
things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we
may do all the words of this law.
Morals & Values - Matthew 5:17-19
"Think not that I am
come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I am not come to destroy,
but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth
pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any wise pass from the
law till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of
these least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called
the least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach
them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
