Authorized VersionTM NAVTM)
According to the Christian Seasons
1 And God spoke all these words, saying:
2 "I am the LORD thy God, who have
brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house
3 "Thou shalt have no other gods
4 "Thou shalt not make unto thee any
graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in
heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is
in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down
thyself to them, nor serve them; for I, the LORD thy God,
am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers
upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of
them that hate Me, 6 and showing mercy unto thousands of
them that love Me and keep My commandments.
7 "Thou shalt not take the name of
the LORD thy God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him
guiltless that taketh His name in vain.
8 "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep
it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work;
10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy
God. In it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son,
nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant,
nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy
gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh
day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and
12 "Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be
long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13 "Thou shalt not kill.
14 "Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 "Thou shalt not steal.
16 "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
17 "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house; thou shalt
not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his
ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's."
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament showeth His handiwork.
2 Day upon day uttereth speech,
and night upon night showeth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language
where their voice is not heard.
4 Their sound has gone forth through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth
as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit
unto the ends of it; and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever;
the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is Thy servant warned,
and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse Thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not
have dominion over me.
Then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent of the great
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be
acceptable in Thy sight,
O LORD, my Strength and my Redeemer.
Words of Worship - Luke 8:15
But that on the good
ground are they that, in an honest and good heart, having heard the
Word, keep it and bring forth fruit with patience.
ye therefore the parable of the sower: 19 When any
one heareth the Word of the Kingdom and understandeth
it not, then cometh the wicked one and catcheth away
that which was sown in his heart. This is he that
received seed by the wayside. 20 But he that received
the seed into stony places, the same is he that
heareth the Word and at once with joy receiveth it;
21 yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for
a while. For when tribulation or persecution ariseth
because of the Word, by and by he loses faith. 22 He
also that received the seed among the thorns is he
that heareth the Word; and the cares of this world
and the deceitfulness of riches choke the Word, and
he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed
into the good ground is he that heareth the Word and
understandeth it; who also beareth fruit and bringeth
forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some
Words of Wisdom - Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business?
He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before men of low estate.
Morals & Values - Matthew 7:26-27
And every one that heareth these sayings of Mine and
doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon
the sand; and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house; and it fell, and great was the fall of it."
