Authorized VersionTM NAVTM)
According to the Christian Seasons
22 And when he had landed at Caesarea and had
gone up and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch. 23 And after he had
spent some time there, he departed and went through all the country of Galatia
and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.
24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at
Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus. 25
This man was instructed in the Way of the Lord; and being fervent in the Spirit,
he spoke and taught diligently the things of the Lord, though he knew only the
baptism of John. 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila
and Priscilla had heard him, they took him unto them and expounded unto him the
Way of God more perfectly. 27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the
brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him. And when he had come, he
helped them much who had believed through grace; 28 for he mightily refuted the
Jews (and that publicly), showing by the Scriptures that Jesus was Christ.
1 O clap your hands, all ye
Shout unto God with the voice of triumph!
2 For the LORD Most High is to be feared;
He is a great King over all the earth.
3 He shall subdue the people under us,
and the nations under our feet.
4 He shall choose our inheritance for us,
the excellency of Jacob whom He loved.
5 God has gone up with a shout,
the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises unto our King, sing praises!
7 For God is the King of all the earth;
sing ye praises with understanding.
8 God reigneth over the heathen;
God sitteth upon the throne of His holiness.
9 The princes of the people are gathered
even the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong unto God;
He is greatly exalted.
Words of Worship - John 16:28
I came forth from the
Father, and am come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go
to the Father."
23 And in that day ye shall ask Me nothing. Verily, verily I say
unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, He will give
it to you. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in My name. Ask and ye
shall receive, that your joy may be full.
25 "These things
have I spoken unto you in proverbs; but the time cometh when I shall
no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of
the Father. 26 In that day ye shall ask in My name, and I say not unto
you that I will pray the Father for you; 27 for the Father Himself
loveth you, because ye have loved Me and have believed that I came out
from God. 28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world.
Again, I leave the world and go to the Father."
Words of Wisdom - Proverbs 16:32
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
Morals & Values - Luke 12:6-7
Are not five sparrows
sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not
therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
