2 Corinthians 4:7-18
7 But we have this treasure in earthen
vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God,
and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not
distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9
persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not
destroyed; 10 always bearing about in the body the dying
of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be
made manifest in our body. 11 For we who live are always
being delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life
also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13 We, having the same spirit of faith,
according as it is written: "I believed and
therefore have I spoken" -- we also believe and
therefore speak, 14 knowing that He who raised up the
Lord Jesus shall raise us up also by Jesus, and shall
present us with you. 15 For all things are for your
sakes, that, through the thanksgiving of many, the
abundant grace might redound to the glory of God.
16 For this cause we faint not, but
though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is
renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is
but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and
eternal weight of glory, 18 while we look not at the
things which are seen, but at the things which are not
seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the
things which are not seen are eternal.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: "I was

Words of Worship - Philippians
among whom ye shine as lights in the world, holding
forth the Word of Life,
27 "Ye have heard that it
was said by them of old, `Thou shalt not commit adultery.' 28 But I say unto
you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed
adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye cause thee to
fall, pluck it out and cast it from thee; for it is profitable for thee that
one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast
into hell. 30 And if thy right hand cause thee to fall, cut it off and cast it
from thee; for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should
perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
31 "It hath been said,
`Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of
divorcement.' 32 But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife,
except for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery; and
whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
