Authorized VersionTM NAVTM)
According to the Christian Seasons
51 "Ye stiffnecked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears,
ye do always resist the Holy Ghost! As your fathers did, so do ye! 52 Which of
the prophets have your fathers not persecuted? And they have slain those who
foretold the coming of the Just One. Of Him ye have now been the betrayers and
murderers, 53 ye who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and
have not kept it."
54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and
they gnashed with their teeth at him. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost,
looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing
at the right hand of God, 56 and he said, "Behold, I see the heavens
opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God." 57 Then they
cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one
accord, 58 and cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid
down their clothes at the feet of a young man whose name was Saul. 59 And they
stoned Stephen as he called upon God and said, "Lord Jesus, receive my
spirit!" 60 And he kneeled down and cried with a loud voice, "Lord,
charge not this sin against them." And when he had said this, he fell
1 The LORD reigneth, let the earth rejoice!
Let the multitude of isles be glad thereof!
2 Clouds and darkness are round about Him;
righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His throne.
3 A fire goeth before Him,
and burneth up His enemies round about.
4 His lightnings enlightened the world;
the earth saw and trembled.
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD,
at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
6 The heavens declare His righteousness,
and all the people see His glory.
7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast
themselves of idols.
Worship Him, all ye gods!
8 Zion heard and was glad,
and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of Thy judgments, O
9 For Thou, LORD, art high above all the earth;
Thou art exalted far above all gods.
10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil!
He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivereth them out of the
hand of the wicked.
11 Light is sown for the righteous,
and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous,
and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.
10 And he said unto me, "Seal not the sayings of the
prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. 11 He that is unjust, let him be
unjust still; and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he that is
righteous, let him be righteous still; and he that is holy, let him be holy
12 "And behold, I come
quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every man according as his work
shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and
14 Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they
may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the gates
into the city. 15 For outside are dogs and sorcerers, and whoremongers
and murderers and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16 "I, Jesus, have sent
Mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the
Root and the Offspring of David, and the Bright and Morning Star."
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come."
And let him that heareth say, "Come." And let him that is
athirst come; and whosoever will, let him take the Water of Life freely.
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words
of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add unto these things,
God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. 19 And
if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy,
God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life and out of the Holy
City, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He that testifieth these things saith,
"Surely I come
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
Words of Worship - John 14:18
"I will not leave you
comfortless; I will come to you.
20 "Neither pray I
for these alone, but for them also who shall believe in Me through their
word, 21 that they all may be one, as Thou, Father, art in Me and I in
Thee, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that
Thou hast sent Me. 22 And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given
them, that they may be one, even as We are one: 23 I in them and Thou in
Me, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know
that Thou hast sent Me and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me.
24 "Father, I will that they also,
whom Thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am, that
they may behold My glory which Thou hast given Me;
for Thou loved Me before the foundation of the world.
25 "O righteous Father, the world
hath not known Thee, but I have known Thee, and these
have known that Thou hast sent Me. 26 And I have
declared unto them Thy name, and will declare it,
that the love wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in
them, and I in them."
Words of Wisdom - Ecclesiasticus 20:9
There is a sinner that hath good success in evil things,
and there is a gain that turneth to loss.
Morals & Values - Luke 12:15
And He said unto them,
"Take heed and beware of
covetousness, for a man's life consisteth not in the
abundance of the things which he possesseth."
