According to the Christian Seasons
2 Chronicles 24:17-27
17 Now after the death of Jehoiada came the princes
of Judah, and made obeisance to the king. Then the king hearkened unto
them. 18 And they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers,
and served Asherah poles and idols; and wrath came upon Judah and
Jerusalem for this their trespass. 19 Yet He sent prophets to them,
to bring them again unto the LORD; and they testified against them, but
they would not give ear.
20 And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the
son of Jehoiada the priest, who stood above the people, and said unto
them, "Thus saith God: 'Why transgress ye the commandments of the
LORD, that ye cannot prosper? Because ye have forsaken the LORD, He hath
also forsaken you.'" 21 And they conspired against him, and
stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of
the house of the LORD. 22 Thus Joash the king remembered not the
kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son.
And when he died, he said, "The LORD look upon it, and require
23 And it came to pass at the end of the year that
the host of Syria came up against him; and they came to Judah and
Jerusalem and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the
people, and sent all their spoil unto the king of Damascus. 24 For
the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men; and the LORD
delivered a very great host into their hand, because they had forsaken
the LORD God of their fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.
25 And when they had departed from him (for they left
him with grave diseases), his own servants conspired against him for the
blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his bed, and
he died. And they buried him in the City of David, but they buried him
not in the sepulchers of the kings. 26 And these are those who conspired
against him: Zabad the son of Shimeath an Ammonitess, and Jehozabad the
son of Shimrith a Moabitess. 27 Now concerning his sons, and the
greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the repairing of the house
of God, behold, they are written in the commentary of the book of the
kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.

Words of Worship - 2 Corinthians 8:9
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that,
though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that
ye through His poverty might be rich.
24 "No man can
serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other,
or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve
God and mammon.
25 "Therefore I
say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what
ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the
life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of
the air, for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns;
yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 "Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his
stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of
the field, how they grow. They toil not, neither do they spin, 29 and
yet I say unto you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these. 30 Therefore, if God so clothe the grass of the
field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall He not
much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no
thought, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or
`Wherewith shall we be clothed?' 32 (For after all these things do the
Gentiles seek.) For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of
all these things. 33 But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His
righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. 34
"Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall
take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the
Words of Wisdom - Jeremiah 3:22

and I will heal your backslidings."
"Behold, we come unto Thee, for Thou art the LORD our God.
Morals & Values - Matthew 5:46-48
For if ye love them
that love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the
same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than
others? Do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even
as your Father who is in Heaven is perfect.
