Leviticus 19:1-4, 9-18
1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, 2 "Speak unto all
the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them: `Ye shall be
holy, for I the LORD your God am holy. 3 Ye shall fear every man his mother and
his father, and keep My Sabbaths: I am the LORD your God. 4 Turn ye not unto
idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.
9 "`And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt
not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the
gleanings of thy harvest. 10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither
shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard. Thou shalt leave them for the
poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.
11 "`Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie
one to another. 12 And ye shall not swear by My name falsely; neither shalt thou
profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
13 "`Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor, neither rob him.
The wages of him that is hired shall not remain with thee all night until the
morning. 14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the
blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.
15 "`Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment. Thou shalt
not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty, but in
righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.
16 "`Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among
thy people; neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor: I am the
17 "`Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart. Thou
shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not let sin come upon him. 18 Thou
shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but
thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD.
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament showeth His handiwork.
2 Day upon day uttereth speech,
and night upon night showeth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language
where their voice is not heard.
4 Their sound has gone forth through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth
as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit
unto the ends of it; and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever;
the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is Thy servant warned,
and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse Thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not
have dominion over me.
Then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent of the great
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be
acceptable in Thy sight,
O LORD, my Strength and my Redeemer.
Words of Worship - 2
Behold, now is the accepted time! Behold, now is the day of
31 "When the Son of Man
shall come in His glory and all the holy angels with
Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory.
32 And before Him shall be gathered all nations, and
He shall separate them one from another as a shepherd
divideth his sheep from the goats. 33 And He shall
set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the
left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on His
right hand, `Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit
the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of
the world. 35 For I hungered, and ye gave Me meat; I
was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink; I was a stranger,
and ye took Me in; 36 naked, and ye clothed Me; I was
sick, and ye visited Me; I was in prison, and ye came
unto Me.' 37 Then shall the righteous answer Him,
saying, `Lord, when saw we Thee hungering and fed
Thee, or thirsty and gave Thee drink? 38 When saw we
Thee a stranger and took Thee in, or naked and
clothed Thee? 39 Or when saw we Thee sick, or in
prison, and came unto Thee?' 40 And the King shall
answer and say unto them, `Verily I say unto you,
inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of
these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.'
41 "Then shall He say
also unto them on the left hand, `Depart from Me, ye
cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil
and his angels. 42 For I hungered, and ye gave Me no
meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink; 43 I
was a stranger, and ye took Me not in; naked, and ye
clothed Me not; sick and in prison, and ye visited Me
not.' 44 Then shall they also answer Him, saying,
`Lord, when saw we Thee hungering or athirst or a
stranger, or naked or sick or in prison, and did not
minister unto Thee?' 45 Then shall He answer them,
saying, `Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it
not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to
Me.' 46 And these shall go away into everlasting
punishment, but the righteous into life
Words of Wisdom - Proverbs 12:10
A righteous man hath regard for the life of his beast,
but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
Morals & Values - Mark 10:42-45
But Jesus called them to Him and said unto them,
"Ye know that they that
are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and their
great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you:
but whosoever will be great among you shall be your minister, and whosoever
of you would be the chiefest shall be servant of all. For even the Son of
Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and to give His life as a
ransom for many."
